Built on Precision. Led by Tenacity.

Before founding Expedition by Design, Kaitlyn worked inside an interior design studio whose projects were featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Domino, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and House Beautiful.

Behind every published project was operational discipline most people never see - purchase orders, freight coordination, vendor negotiations, installation oversight. That’s where she found her lane.

Prior to procurement, she spent five years as a business insights analyst in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. She represented many brands and evaluated their successes and opportunities.

When those two worlds met, something clicked.

She realized she was genuinely energized by procurement - solving the freight issue, reconciling discrepancies, and seeing a piece she managed months prior perfectly installed in a client’s home.

She’s always been tenacious. If something needs resolutions, she researches it, asks questions, and follows through - calmly and persistently.

Today, she partners with boutique interior designers who value operational clarity as much as aesthetic excellence.

Because beautiful design deserves operational integrity.

And as Expedition by Design grows, that commitment to precision remains at the center of everything we build.
